STEP 1: CONSULTATION & MAPPING
Your treatment begins with a consultation, where your provider will walk you through your procedure and map out the donor area where the hair follicles will be harvested.
STEP 2: LOCAL ANESTHESIA
Local anesthesia will be administered to curb any pain or discomfort during your procedure.
STEP 3: RECOVERY
Avoid strenuous activities for 2 weeks. As your head and scalp is healing, sleep with your head elevated and flat for the next few weeks following the procedure.
Avoid blood thinning medications including Aspirin due to the possibility of excessive bleeding during your NeoGraft hair restoration procedure.
Avoid smoking, alcohol, and Vitamin E during the days leading up to the procedure.
Avoid caffeinated/energy drinks the night before and the morning of the procedure.
Eat a light breakfast on the day of your NeoGraft hair restoration treatment.
Sleep with your head elevatedand flat in the next few weeks following your procedure.
Avoid strenuous activities for 2 weeks after your NeoGraft procedure.
Non-strenuous activities can be resumed the day after the procedure.
Avoid wearing hats, beanies, etc. for a few weeks following the procedure as your head and scalp is healing.
Swelling is normal and should subside 1-2 days after your NeoGraft procedure.
A few weeks after your treatment, the implanted hair will fall out. This is completely normal.
Within four to six months, you will start to see your natural hair growing from the transplanted follicles.
Full results and more natural-looking growth can be expected about a year after the initial procedure.
